Where’s the train?

M – Hoping for the light at the end of the tunnel and really hoping it is not a train. That being said, life seems more normal. She continues to explore and test her boundaries now and is more stubborn – happily it is usually at home when no-one sees what ogres of parents we are when her needs are not met, NOW!

She is getting better, although she is still not as vivacious as usual. She still rests more than usual (normally she gets up and moves and babbles nonstop until her nap (about 2 1/2 hours long), after which she gets up and goes again with limitless energy until she goes to bed about 5 hours later. Her naps are closer to 3 hours now and she goes to bed between 15 minutes to 1/2 hour earlier than usual. So from 10 hours, it is down to merely 9+ hours. Whee.

Too tired to play, not tired enough to sleep.

Even when recovering, she still loves her unique fashion. Two different coloured slippers, a toque inside the house, wanting to wear her pumpkin costume (again) to daycare (2 weeks after Halloween), the list goes on. Hey, whatever works.

Quiet time - reading with D and family

Coming for the camera

Not related to her state of well-being, I just liked the picture. Ironically, she doesn’t like her picture being taken right now, but loves looking at pictures of herself on the computer, camera, and photo albums. Well,  actually a huge scrapbooking tome – which seems to keep falling further and further behind – (shame on you D)!

Life moves so fast.

  1. Love the Mango close up its “frame worthy” 🙂

  2. 😀 Not bad for me hurrying to get a picture before she reached me (which was about 5 seconds later).
