Stumbling Blocks

Note: this post began mid-April. Life keeps getting busier, it seems.

Not that long ago, we were given wood. In the form of blocks and other interesting shapes (and colours and textures). They came at a perfect time, as Mango is just getting into stacking (and knocking down) a variety of things. The blocks are better than many other choices that could have been made. As an added bonus, they make it easy for us to ascertain her level of tiredness, as she tends to drop more, as well as having the tendency to trip and fall on the blocks  more when she is close to crashing.

It is now nearing the end of May, but I had to show this sequence of her (trying) to stack blocks on a bed.

Everybody shhh! This is my first time here!

Nobody jiggle the bed! Stacking in progress here.

Hmmm. Starting to look a bit unsteady here.

Wheeeeeee! All fall down!
