Weather woes.

M – Unlike either of us, our Mango loves the outdoors. Walks outside, no matter the temperature raise her spirits and get her all excited (although the breeze has been known to ease her into sleep. 🙂 However, with the temperature reaching -25 degrees Centigrade (-40 if you include windchill), the walks outside are severely restricted (meaning they are pretty much nonexistent). So, mall walking was reintroduced to her. Nada. If there is no authentic fresh air and sun on her, strolls are no real fun. It certainly isn’t easy to go from two outside walks daily to none. Sure, in another 5 or 6 months, she’ll be happily playing and getting muddy outside, but that is half a lifetime away. While it may be just our overactive imagination, she seems more out-of-sorts when cooped up all day. Granted, after 11 months, there is little to see at home that she hasn’t seen countless times already. Thankfully or little one still has lots of fun going visiting people, as there are entire new rooms and places to explore. I wonder how she and home-care will mesh… 😛 In the meantime, she has been forced to make her own fun; which is fun for us to watch anyway.

Dah dah dah daaaah! Surprise! Here I am!

Did you see me? I was hiding.

All I know is that we are not looking forward to spending all day baby-less. 😦

  1. feel free to bring her over here for new vistas to explore….or if you guys need some company.
