All Hallow’s Eve.

These are 'pumpkins'? Aren't they supposed to be scary?

Pumpkin fun.

M – Also known as Halloween, it is something I have not participated in for a long time. That may change this year though. Something in the rulebook about children states that as a parent, it is obligatory to engage in tricking and/or treating… So, to get in the spirit of the holiday, we went out to a pumpkin patch and took pictures. Since then Mango has been photographed in her Halloween costume, but that may come in a future post.

I just got comfy. Do we really have to go already?

Do I look cool? When can we do this again?

She enjoyed the time there (not the actual trip in the car), and seemed perplexed by the straw. All prickly and not like grass at all. Fun times.

  1. i guess you apartment dwellers get to escape halloween if you want to. i’ve been living the trick-or-treat nightmare for, what, 15 years now? weather forecast is calling for snow and high winds on saturday. yippee.

  2. Aaahhh. Innocence about to be destroyed. 😦

  3. So? was she really excited about the pumpkins? A was all over them at the maze we went to this year and the bale pyramid..had to drag him off.

  4. She was more idly curious. She had just woken up from a car ride and was still tired and not really full of energy yet. She was squirmy when we tried to take her picture though, and she did enjoy trying to stand and stretch between pumpkins (probably still testing her walking skills.)
