M – I was thinking the other day about how our lives right now parallel (loosely) that of the penguins in the movie March of the Penguins. It feels as if we just see each other in passing, especially during the night. While not as extreme as the lonely life of the those in the movie, we barely have time to update the other before passing out into deep slumber. Hope all you out there with grandchildren are pleased with yourselves *grumble*. Anyway, my time is almost up here as Mango is clamouring for another feeding and it is time for me to sleep.

Spoiled but sleeping..

Spoiled but sleeping..

  1. I know. Rotten little monsters. Take, take, take. No concern whatsoever for sleep requirements or maybe a night off. One small person, one huge amount of time…you could have an army of people and it still wouldn’t be too much.

  2. Yeah. As it has been said, “it takes a village to raise a child” (or something like that). Where’s our village? Good thing we have willing family support.

  3. Who would have thought that getting some good sleep could become such a big deal?! Your little one’s demand on your time makes sleep such a precious commodity!! Isn’t that amazing?!

Cheer up…things will get better!! The feeding frenzy will ease over time…will not be maintained forever!!!
